and welcome to the sonderous sky


sonder — noun
the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own — populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness — an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you'll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk.

the sonderous sky began as an art project to showcase the joy in everyday life and to highlight the stories people in passing during my time throughout traveling and while in university

since then, the project has since evolved into much more: an outlet for creative expression, a commitment to empathetic service, and a philosophy to chart my dreams by. i hope to experience life from as many perspectives as i can and to bring them together to paint a fuller picture of the world and of myself

i’ve discovered what i love through sonder, to create for my communities, to share the stories of those otherwise untold, and to serve others in pursuit of something bigger than myself

this website serves as a portal to ventures and creations i’ve had the pleasure of playing a part in, collections of poems and portraits from the original project, games and sidequests i’ve built for friends, and stories that have been entrusted with me
