between the pages of life
a chapter gently ends
the words, now fading whispers
that once were our friends

as the sun sets on this path
we look to the unknown
our hearts brimming with hope
for a story yet untold

i stand at the threshold
of an uncharted road
knowing that the sun
will never set the same

for as the seasons change
and the sky turns to grey
we will dance in the rain
and cherish the days

the bonds we've made will guide us
like moonlight on a stream
the glow, a soft reminder
of our shared and cherished dreams

and though the road may diverge
and our lives may rearrange
the love we leave behind
will never truly change
